From Mina Watanabe, Japan

Women's Active Museum on War and Peace

.

Dear Anita,

Greetings from Japan. I just wanted to share with you that at the 10th anniversary of the Women's International War Crimes Tribunal for Japan's Military Sexual Slavery, we had a small evening event to tribute the friends and survivors who passed away. Indai and Patti also participated, and Patti made a tribute message about Rhonda (hope you can find the picture of Rhonda on the wall). She talked about how much Rhonda put her energy for the sake of "comfort women" survivors...

I am so sorry that I missed the Rhonda's event in September. Hope it was memorable one. We will keep the spirit of Rhonda, Yayori, and courageous survivors, and will keep working to eliminate violence against women.

Best wishes,
Mina
