Oh María, I send huge hugs in these days of mourning and commemoration. I imagine that beautiful and powerful memories of Rhonda surround you with a mixture of joy, sadness and tenderness. What courage and strength and energy! What a fierce gigantic commitment she offered to us all. How lucky I was to finally meet her face to face in Guatemala during the Observatory. After so many years knowing her by phone when you two were together in New York -- her strong and firm voice finally became flesh and blood. I saw her in action with all her eloquence and wisdom. how lucky for me! her will to live right up until deciding it was time to let go. how very fitting! May her stubborn generous spirit keep us all strong! Big hugs.
