From Yamilet Mejia Palma, Nicaragua

Translation from Spanish (below) by Maureen Mason & Eugenia Bermudez

There are memories that will never be erased, people I will never forget, simply because they are people and women who endure over time and space in life. Although I had only had the opportunity to see and know Rhonda for a short time, so that I won't forget her and to make it endure let me share a snippet of an interview I did with Rhonda Copelon and Mariano Fernández V. for the Human Rights Yearbook 2008 (see excerpt from the interview, above). A hug of life for all and as Maria says let's all take good care of our health. A big hug to her family and especially to a great fighter Vivian, whom I greatly admire.
